Setting Blog

Blogger beginners usually do not understand the various kinds of standard functions which have been provided bloggers. And only by editing the blog's appearance alone would have changed drastically for the better.

1. On the Settings menu -> Basic

  • Title: to fill the blog title
  • Description: a description of your blog
  • Add your blog to our listings: to set whether the blog will appear on the menu such as blogger bloggers and next play blog or not
  • Show quick editing on your blog: when you're logged into the blogger, when you try to view your blog it will appear small pliers and a screwdriver. sometimes feels disrupt. But actually it  fast  function for editing blogs. You can show them or eliminate them.
  • Show email post links: displays a small envelope icon at the bottom of the posting. With this icon readers can submit articles of our blog to others via email
  • Adult Content: to determine whether our blogs contain pornographic content or not
  • Show compose mode for all your blog: to display the compose mode in the menu editor post
  • Enable Transliteration: to activate the function of the translation of words into the post editor selected language.

2. Menu Settings -> Formatting

  • Show: to determine the number of posts that will displayed on the page blog
  • Date Header Format: To determine the date format that will appear above the title post
  • Archive Index Date Format: to set the date format that will appear in the file menu located in the sidebar column
  • Timestamp Format: to set the time format that will be displayed on the posts
  • Time Zone: to determine the time zone we live on. For example (GMT +07.00) Jakarta for the Indonesia region
  • Language: to select the language to be used
  • Convert the link breaks: to set whether to convert the code tag on the post editor automatically
  • Show Title Field: to display the post title. If you select No then the bloggers will take a few words at the beginning of the paragraph as the title of the posting
  • Show Link Field: to add related links into each post. If no, select No course
  • Enable Float Alignment: to enable the alignment function in the text and images
  • Post Template: to fill the text box will be displayed on posting

3. Menu Settings -> Comments

  • Comments: to display the comments box
  • Who Can Comment: to determine who may make comments
  • Comment Form Placement: to determine where lies the comments box
  • Comments Default for posts: to set whether to be a comment on new posts or not
  • Backlinks: to set whether to be notified when someone put a link on our articles or not
  • Backlinks Default for posts: to set whether to activate the function of backlinks or not
  • Comments Timestamp Format: to choose the time format that will appear in the comments box
  • Comment Form Message: to display a short message on the comments box
  • Comment Moderation: to filter incoming comments before posting
  • Show word verification for comments: to display the verification code if anyone wants to comment to avoid the system of spam bot
  • Show profile images on comments: to display the profile pictures of commentators who have a blog on blogger
  • Comment Notification Email: to get a notification from bloggers via email if there is leave a comment

4. Menu Settings -> Archiving

  • Frequently archive: to set the frequency record. For example file daily, weekly or monthly
  • Enable Post Pages: enable post pages for each article

5. Menu Settings -> Site Feed

  • Allow Blog Feed: to determine the number of characters sent articles via RSS Feed or Email Feed
  • Post Feed Redirect URL: to fill your Feed URL. If you have not got the blank alone
  • Post Feed Footer: to fill the additional text in a feed

6. Menu Settings -> Email

  • Blogsend Address: to get the shipment postings to your email address each time you post to your blog.
  • Mail to blogger address: to determine the email address you want. So you can send articles directly to your blog via email. Note: Do not let this email address to anyone else. If not, someone else can send the article to your blog.

7. On the Settings menu -> Permissions

  • Blog Authors: allow others to participate in writing on your blog. Authors do I click Add and enter the email addresses of people who would be invited and then click Invite
  • Blog Readers: to control who can read your blog articles

So the short explanation.
